About 1 pm today I went to the kitchen to fix myself a little something for lunch. While there, the cats gathered around and wanted a bit of lunch as well. So I gave each of them about a tablespoon of kibbles.
Well, while I was standing there waiting for the microwave, I noticed that Scrappy walked over to where Bunny was eating. She reached out with her left paw (we have noticed that most cats are left-pawed) and tapped Bunny on the head. She did not swat at her or act as if she wanted to get in to it; she just tapped her on the head. When Bunny looked up, Scrappy looked her right in the eye and at the same time, reached with her left paw and pulled the Bunny’s bowl in front of her, She proceeded to politely finish the few kibbles that were left in the bowl while Bunny watched on in amazement.
I had such a laugh at that. Now I know it may sound like a tale (a cat’s tail) but no, it IS the truth!

"Cats make one of the most satisfying sounds in the world: they purr ...
A purring cat is a form of high praise, like a gold star on a test paper. It is reinforcement of something we would all like to believe about ourselves - that we are nice."
