The other day I witnessed a dreadful murder.  It was a crime so heinous that I hid under the chair for absolutely hours and hours, shaking in fear. The red monster gobbler was brought downstairs and came to life.  First of all, all the cushions were taken off my chairs and sofa in the front room (or lounge as we sometimes call it).  The monster gobbler then sniffed all the cushions before they were replaced.

Then it sniffed the carpet and the flooring, before moving out into the hallway.  While it was sniffing the carpet out there it made a terrible noise and that’s when I began to get scared.  Ollie had warned me about Henry, the red monster gobbler but I must have been in the garden when it’s been brought out of hiding ready to do its dire business.  So I haven’t really been introduced to Henry before.

He slowly made his way into the dining room, sniffing and grunting as he went and then he found the catnip fish-blob that Mum made for me.  With one huge grunt and a lot of funny whirring gurgling noises, his sucking tube swallowed fish-blob whole. Poor fish-blob was gone.  I thought that Henry would get me next so I hid under the table and then under the chair.

Finally, he had finished his dark deeds and he stopped making all that awful noise. I am traumatised.  My life will never be the same.  Fish-blob was my friend and I treasured him because Mum made him for me.
