What I liked about this little book about Monty and his two siblings, Freddie and Claudia, is that young readers will be able to read it for themselves and even younger readers will enjoy someone reading the stories to them.

There are two stories in the book: Monty and his Amazing Adventures and Monty and his Amazing Adventures at the Beach.  Each story has a simple format which is easily understood by readers just beginning their journey of learning to read, and the stories are engaging and short enough to keep a child’s interest from waning.

These stories could have been lengthened to include more adventures but I’m hoping that Monty, Freddie and Claudia will soon have more ‘amazing adventures’ to delight readers, young and old alike.

Published in paperback and on Kindle by Austin Macauley, Monty and his Amazing Adventures by Debbie Spencer, is available on www.amazon.co.uk  and www.amazon.com

The ISBN Number is: 978-1849633505

You can read more about how Debbie found Monty, Freddie and Claudia thrown out in the trash which can be found in the Amazing Cats section of the website:

Thrown out with the trash

A Cats Purr

"Cats make one of the most satisfying sounds in the world: they purr ...

A purring cat is a form of high praise, like a gold star on a test paper. It is reinforcement of something we would all like to believe about ourselves - that we are nice."
