Larry at Number 10 by E.C. RadcliffeA Meow-vellous Cat and Dog Tail

Larry at Number 10 by E.C. Radcliffe tells the story of Larry the cat, who lives with a certain tousled blond-haired leader of the UK’s government.  Life is pretty ordinary until The Boss brings home that mutt, Dilyn, and he expects them to become brothers. But Larry isn’t playing that game.

While Larry is getting on with his impawtant jobs, Dilyn is pooping in the flowerpots, and playing with his squeaky toys.  Larry even plots Dilyn’s downfall (I won’t spoil how).

But all that changes one night when a burglar enters the bedroom window of The Boss and bungles Larry into his bag.  Dilyn saves the day and Larry grudgingly comes to respect his new brother.

The illustrations are by Dave Hill and they are bright, colourful and lifelike.  The story would be perfect bedtime reading by Mum or Dad, and early readers will be able to read it for themselves.
