A cat who never knew when to stop purring. We first met her when we ran a plant nursery from 2005 to 2007. We were told she liked being outside a lot, but when we brought her inside during the winter of 2006, she was in absolute bliss.
The more time you spent with her, the more her cheeky, happy, irresistible character emerged. You never know how much you miss a cat until they have gone, and we miss her terribly. She had it hard for most of her life, but we feel privileged to have known her and cared for her for a very short 18 months.

"Cats make one of the most satisfying sounds in the world: they purr ...
A purring cat is a form of high praise, like a gold star on a test paper. It is reinforcement of something we would all like to believe about ourselves - that we are nice."
