I am writing this tribute to my little black cat Timmy who was gently put to sleep on Monday 21st July 2008 at the tender age of 9 years.
Timmy was a special lad; he changed my career from office work to animal behaviour and trainer - he showed me that animals that have severe behavioural problems can be turned into loving animals that can become part of the family.
When he came to me, he had been rejected by three homes due to his problems, but when I saw his little face and his sad cry for help my heart melted and he changed my life in a huge way. He certainly has touched many people's lives, as cards have flooded in from all corners of the earth in sympathy of his loss.
His job is now done, mine is continuing, but I hold in my heart the little black cat that touched my life.
