We wanted to let you know about our other best friend Nutmeg. She is now with Zooti.
Just after midnight on 12/29/12, under the full moon, Nutmeg passed away from this world.
We are grateful for her 19 years of friendship, loyalty and love.
Our lives will never be the same without her and we will miss her forever.
Nutmeg was an exceptionally sweet and gentle cat. She was born in the desert of Arizona and rescued from the animal shelter on her Mom’s 20th birthday in 1993. She was a loyal companion that traveled with us from state to state and even drove with her Mom cross-country when she relocated.
Always by your side, Nutmeg wanted nothing more than to be with you, near you, or 
sitting on your lap. When she was 2 she met her new lifelong friend Zooti and they quickly became snuggly lovers forever. Nutmeg loved to sit in cardboard boxes, hide in paper bags and lie in the sun.
She truly enjoyed the outdoor cat area we built and even went out there in her final days to enjoy the cold weather. Her colours were magnificent, her personality loving and patient.
She always tucked us into bed and woke us to feed her in the morning. She spent her final days in one of her favorite spots on the couch with her Mom watching Harry Potter and eating tuna and lobster. She will be forever missed.
