Missy was adopted from the SPCA here at Grand Falls-Windsor back in 2002, when she was approximately 6 months old.

MissyShe is long-haired, pure white with pink nose, ears, paw pads and blue eyes. She leaves her fur on everything she passes which keeps me busy.

I put her out by the door on a lease in summer but she doesn't go outside at all in winter. She had a bowel problem (constipation) for several years and I was buying her medicine from the vet. Then about 3-4 years ago I began buying a new (costly, but good) gastrointestinal food from the vet which has helped her tremendously. Also, it is excellent for her fur, which feels like silk.

Missy will eat nothing from the table; will not even drink a drop of milk. She's a cat food only girl.

Missy on the dryerWhen I set my washer going to wash my clothes, Missy runs and gets upon my dryer, waiting for me to put the clothes in it and set it running. She will lie there until it gets too warm for her and then get down. She does this every time I wash. She's so cute. Here's another picture of her on my dryer:

When I retire at night, she sleeps by my head for an hour or two, then leaves to spend the remainder of the night in the rocking chair - my chair but she thinks it is hers. If I sit in it she will go around it and pat my leg for me to get out; when I do she will jump in it in a split second. She is a little spoiled as you can tell.

The Very Best Toy for Cats

"Of all the [cat] toys available, none is better designed than the owner himself. A large multipurpose plaything, its parts can be made to move in almost any direction. It comes completely assembled, and it makes a noise when you jump on it."
