Dezi - curious selfieDezi: Meow Well, it’s been a good long time since you’ve heard from us. Let me tell ya’, life can sure get in the way of all your plans. When you’re a kitty cat without thumbs, you’re at the mercy of your human typist. In our case that’s mommy A; and let me tell ya’, the last few years have not exactly been kind to her. Nevertheless, we’re still trudging along and doing the best we can.

Raena: That’s right sissy. Mommy says when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. I’s would personally prefer nip tea and I’s would have thought mommy would prefer coffee; but, I’s guess you can’t make either with lemons.

Dezi: Thanks for that trivial banter, Raena. Anyways, as me was saying, between hot flashes and dealing with the business of life, mommy hasn’t had a lot of time to help us be on the computer. We’ve been doing our best to take care of mommy and get along. We finally got a new wheelchair to replace mommy’s old broken down one. A few lessons later, you’d have thought Raena and me had been driving it for years. Okay, so maybe Raena still runs into the cat tree on occasion and we have a few scuffles over whose turn it is, but for the most part…

Raena: I’s don’t run into the cat tree sissy. Don’t say that, peeps will think I’s dangerous or something. Besides, mommy says I’s a great helper and she couldn’t imagine how the two of you would make it without me.

Dezi: Sure Raena, whatever you say. Mommy only says that to be nice.

Raena: No, she doesn’t sissy. Take it back or I’s will tell mommy you’re being mean to me.

Dezi: It’s not mean if it’s the truth Raena. What’s that mommy? Okay, me’s sorry. Mommy says you’re a great help.

Raena: Thanks sissy. I’s am mommy’s favourite after all.

Dezi: Now who’s being mean, Raena? Mommy doesn’t have favourites. She says mommies should never show favouritism. Anyways, we should also let everybody know that we started a Question and Answer Series on our blog where we post Training Tips and Everything Feline. We hope to help people understand kitties better and to show them that kitties can be trained. With just a little training, unwanted behaviour can become a thing of the past. And more importantly, keep more kitties in forever homes and out of shelters.

Raena lays on top of the cat treeRaena: We love writing those posts, don’t we sissy? And, we’ll answer any question we get. That goes for all of you as well. We have a Contact form on our blog where you can send us a private email. All we ask is that you be specific when asking behavioural questions and include any examples you feel are necessary.

Dezi: Thanks, Raena. Me thinks we better get off here and check on mommy. We hope to see you all again soon. Stay cool and enjoy the rest of your summer.

Till the next time………………………………………………. Be Blest
