My 2008 resolution is to act ‘as-if.’ As if Harry had come back. As if my dish was full and wasn’t raided by my siblings. As if all cats treated reach other with respect. As if we all felt abundant. As if the Great Cat was our friend. And as if all our keepers did the same.
Jimmy
My 2008 resolution is to stand up for myself more. My new sister Daisy seems fearless, so I’ll model her and give Jimmy a run for his money.
Milo
My 2008 resolution is to help others deepen their feelings of gratitude. I was rescued from a miserable life under a portakabin. Some of us live in a time of full stomachs, too many cat toys, endless distractions and warmth on tap. So, by feeling gratitude every day, I will inspire others to do the same.
Holly
There are times I’m not fearless, and like Holly, I’m grateful for my life, as I gate crashed another family who couldn’t keep me. Jimmy is my idol, but he can learn from me too. So my 2008 resolution is to be like M’Catma Gandhi. Make my life the message.
Daisy
"Cats make one of the most satisfying sounds in the world: they purr ...
A purring cat is a form of high praise, like a gold star on a test paper. It is reinforcement of something we would all like to believe about ourselves - that we are nice."
